Pre-installation of any wine cellar refrigeration units involves the preparation of the wine room. It is important to meet the following specifications to be able to start installing and using your wine cellar cooling units.
- * Vapor-sealed room (vapor barriers like plastic sheeting can be used for every wall and ceiling)
- * Proper insulation of the room (rigid foam board is a good example of insulating material)
- * Sealed cracks (an expanding spray foam can be used to fill the cracks)
- * Moisture resistant green board utilized for wall finish
- * Use of solid wood for the wine cellar door with weather stripping feature
- * Use of insulated glass or double-paned glass
- * Low wattage lighting equipment
